The candidate should have knowledge and skills on the following parameters:

  • Identify the prospective customer segments, use concept selling to promote the Ajax Brand within this segment
  • Strategy Development implementing short term focussed stratagies for generating new business.
  • Able to maintain the market share
  • Market Intelligence Data must be collected through various information sources, To provide weekly reports on Key targets / Actions & Competitor activities in the assigned area
  • Solution Selling Providing integrated/valued added solutions.
  • Communication and Delegation Skills Persuasively deligates and monitors business in area of operation.
  • Business Operation - Operational excellence through integation of sales and product support team.
  • Leadership & Team Work – Lead and develop the sales team.
  • Customer Focus – Takes decision balancing organization goals and customer expectations.
  • Exposure to organising market development activities like customer & financier meets, seminars, roadshows.
  • Exposure to ERP environment / CRM will be an asset.

Job Responsibility:

  • Selected candidate will be expected to be responsible for Dealer operations.
  • Directly responsible for leading a team of Dealers sales engineers.
  • Monitor the projects and guide the sales team for creating leads through planned sales calls & market coverage.
  • Manage the key accounts in the area of operation and maintain effective relationship with customers.
  • Uncover prospect needs through market visits with existing and new customers
  • Generating enquiries through different Sales tools
  • To increase the market coverage and thereby increasing sales in the territory
  • Collect receivables & liabilities timely for entire area.
  • Ensure market development activities ae per plan.
  • To ensure that all quotations are submitted on time at dealer end & ensure to update the leads/quotations status within defined time frame
  • Negotiate with customers for closure of major orders.
  • Work with product support team to ensure that customer experiences high level of service.
  • Provide feedback on market developments, competition, new products and trends.
  • Meet / exceed the equipment sales target for self and team.
  • Develop and nurture the skills of the entire sales team Provide monthly forecasts and operating reports for the area and monitor sales performance of team.
